Slept till 4:30. Picked up a check. Cashed it. Bought powerade zero. Went to see megan. Had dinner. And pie. Picked up a friend who needed occupying. Still hanging out with her. Trespassed a guy from Denny’s. Watching Scott Pilgrim for the first time. Trying to think of what strong, independant woman in my life Ramona reminds me of. The end.

Due to a issue with wordpress and the ipad getting along, this is going up late…

I woke up around 5pm, watched the season premiere of human target,  went to village inn, got takeout for me and Cammie, went to her apartment to eat, then went to Denny’s, where i’m writing this on the ipad.

Stupid ipad. Seriously. Wont get along with WP. Probably also going to have issues copying it into OD, so i’ll just do that manually when I get to the apartment.

So, i’ve been feeling rather crappy lately, cant sleep, constant breakthru pain, dehydration, etc. Been taking the maintenance pain meds  once a day, just in an attempt to sleep, but its not really helping. The xanthomas on my joints still hurt like hell, so most positions pretty much suck.

Then, the other night, after sleeping for about 6 hours, i woke up, realized i had no powerade or water, and had to go to walmart to get some before work… it was about midnight, so I got up, got dressed, the jeep actually sorta started quickly (Have i mentioned that, the starter is going out on the damn jeep) and i was backing out when CRUNCH.

I hit my neighbors new car. Like new fucking car, still has its paper temp plates. Damn it.

Seeing as how it was midnight, i left a note, took a shitload of pictures, and then went to  walmart, then work.

Took additional pictures in the daytime. Still havent talked to her about it yet, she wasnt home when i knocked on their door, and i waited around for a few hours to see if she’d come down.

I’ll try again tomorrow, as I need to get this resolved quickly, its probably going to be an insurance claim, as i probably dont have the spare cash to pay for it out of pocket, but hey, thats what insurance is for, right?

Just watched the trailer for Cars 2. It looks good, and i KNOW zach is going to want to go see it, so thats going to be a plan.

I have about half of the client sites for that P3 project done, all the ones in the Abq metro are done, i’ll do the northern NM ones monday and tuesday, then go to El Paso for thanksgiving, then do the southern NM sites, and i’ll finish up with eastern and western by the middle of December.

Oh look. Its the 17th. This is the first one where its not technically my wedding anniversary. Hmm, I should have gone and done something to celebrate. Instead, i’ve pretty much been at home, shut in, over the last 24 hours, feeling like crap.

I’m out of powerade, however, so i must go foraging.Also, i’m half tempted to go to Dennys in the hope of running into someone i probably wouldnt co-exist with anyway.

Had a service call in Cruces this AM, it went quickly. Had a quick lunch with Julia, then headed back to Abq.

Um… Thats about it.

I’m sure theres more, but I cant think of anything.

I will have lots to say tomorrow though, I promise. i’m just ready for bed, after doing Ashley a favor.

Typing this one on the little keyboard on the netbook, because the netbook and the ipad were all I brought to El Paso.With yesterday’s schedule getting screwed up, I didnt end up coming down until right now.My sister was running a marathon this morning, and I got text message updates as she checked into each checkpoint, and my phone kept going off all morning… it was in the other room, but it was still loud.Oops, looks like i left the mini tablet (an HD2 running android 2.2) on all day, and its dead. Oh well, wasnt planning on using it, just brought it along just in case.I ate lunch at Dennys, (what a surprise, right?) and then helped some friends with a favor, then took off for El Paso. Stopped in Hatch for a burrito (didnt get my usual brisket/green chile/cheese… i tried something else off the menu) and then drove the rest of the way to El Paso. Still have to find Ramon and give him cash, but I can do that in the AM before i go to my service call. Then, a quick stop at NMSU to swap a server UPS, then back up to Albuquerque.Dang it, this keyboard is annoying… I should go to walmart and buy that wireless keyboard/mouse/speaker combo i want… although i might instead go to Best Buy and get a illuminated keyboard. I cant wait for the next two paychecks… both are BNCB checks, the first is my three long sites + travel pay, the second is the LONG site.Looking for a 19-22 inch TV for my room, but I need to finish my room before i do that.Also, Its time to get my Android tablet… I want a galaxy tab, not sure which carrier i’m getting it from, but t-mobile seems the most likely.

For some odd reason, i almost wrote September. I dont know why.

Eh, Today, i felt like crap on a stick. Did last night also… i only drank 1 beer, but also had a big cigar, so that may have had something to do with it.

Didnt want to wake up at 9am to drive to SF, then Soco, then San Antonio (NM) then el paso. So, i had some modified plans. Got the trucks and cargo where they needed to be, except for getting truck 2 back up to SF. Its chillin’ at my apartment now, i’ll take it next week i think. I’ll go to El Paso in the morning or afternoon tomorrow, and then come back monday, stopping in LC for a service call on the way home.

My family is in San Antonio (TX) today… they had some vehicle trouble on the way up there, that kinda worried me, being on the side of the road in middle-of-nowhere texas, with no power, no battery, is generally a bad thing.

As AAA tried to locate a tow truck that could accommodate all of them  as well as the Yukon (at 3 tons, loaded, a standard tow truck cannot pull it) i called the Kimble TX Sheriff’s office, requested they send a deputy… which they did quickly. The small town tow company AAA found had a 2.5 ton tow truck, but they made the smart choice to send a full ton crew cab gooseneck with a lowboy trailer instead, the guy heard that one of the passengers was a disabled adult in a wheelchair, so he figured it would be easier to load my brother into a smaller vehicle. My parents said he was awesome the whole time, got them to their hotel safely, helped unload, etc.  The next day, the truck was taken to firestone, where $400 later, it had a new alternator, new belts, and a new battery.

So, i’m having a quick dinner, then watching some stuff on netflix, then off to bed, to head out in the morning.

Next week, after I get back, its time to work on my bedroom, then my apartment will be finished. Also, got some clothes i need to drop off at Goodwill, and while i’m there, i need to look for a dresser for my room to put my clothes in… I may just build something instead, it might be easier.

TV!

And watch, but that comes secondary.

Man, i didnt sleep AT ALL. Until about 9pm. Till about now. It was a nice nap. I’ll probably crash out again now in the front room. So I should turn up the heat. BRB.

DAMN IT! Stupid digital thing. It had turned itself down to 62. No wonder i was cold.

Now wearing a warm, soft comfy shirt, and the heat is on now.

Anyway, i got a watch, A gshock, on clearance at walmart. Its a dark green, but the color isnt too noticiable. Its going to be a temporary, work and play watch though. I’m going to order the one i really want from amazon (the aviator gshock) next check, because sam’s only has it with the silver ring, and i want black on black… or i may spent the $300 and buy the metal band version of it, because it just looks awesome. Fuck, didnt think i was going to be one of THOSE people and spend so much on a watch.

Ooh, its getting warm in here, thats awesome.

So, onto the new TV. My plan was to get a $388 vizio from Sams that was 26 inches, fit perfectly in my entertainment center, and had built in wifi, and netflix…

When I was walmart this AM, i saw one on clearance that was the same size, but no wifi. Normally $278, but a customer return, so it was $222. So, if i got that, i could get a blue ray player with the wifi and apps for $138, and pay about $20 less overall. So, that was the plan. So, today, i started cleaning and rearrainging my apartment in preperation for that… Joe came over and helped, and in a few hours we got the front room of this place clean and moved around… one of the things i ended up doing was moving my modem and networking equipment from the bedroom to the kitchen, where i moved the printer and other stuff as well…

Well, that means i had my router in the front now, so I could run a line to the entertainment center without too much of a problem… so I did. So, i was able to buy the cheaper blue ray player without the wifi, and still connect it to the network… score!

So i paid $350 TOTAL after tax, instead of $388 + tax. PLUS having blue ray with everywhere, which i wouldnt have had before. Thats totally awesome. Also had a totally cute cashier while checking out.That kind of made my day too.

Anyway, so I have the TV set up, netflix on the blue ray player, hulu on my laptop connected to the TV, my 24 inch monitor on my desk hooked up to my netbook, going to buy a backlit keyboard for that, plus a smaller monitor hooked up to a ‘thin client’ which is basically just a tiny computer, which is just going to be used for quick internet stuff… i had originally planned on using it as a mobile computer, but eh, never got around to that project.

TV looks good, fits perfectly into my entertainment center, and works awesomely.

Tomorrow, i’m going to attack my bedroom, get it all moved around. Theres a 22 inch Vizio tv at walmart that i’m seriously considering getting to put in there as well.

And then, i finally slept. Took a vicodin and crashed around 9pm, for a few hours. Then got up, and here I am.
Now that i’m done writing this, i’m going to watch an episode of Bones from last week, then probably go to sleep up here till daytime.

So, Still  havent gotten a watch.

Still havent gone to pick up that TV i want.

Still havent thrown out all this junk, and cleaned up my apartment.

Yeah. I’m being productive.

I did manage to go to Matt’s parents house and fix the sound on their blue ray player.

Also, i went to go see the green eyed waitress. She played angry birds on my ipad.

That ipad is growing on me.
i really do want the samsung tablet though.

And I really need to clean this apartment so I can put my monitor on my desk, and get that new TV

New phone. Motorola Defy. In and out of the T-Mobile store in 10 minutes, very happy about that, very impressed with the phone.

Smaller then my HD2, but faster and a heck of a lot more stable (because its DESIGNED to run Android, and not hacked)
T-mobile sells this as the “first ‘life-proof’ phone. Water resistant, dust proof, shock proof… very much a ‘me’ type phone.

So far, so good, except it has a single dead pixel on it, so I may warranty it out today or tomorrow. I dont know yet, it might be something I can live with.

Going over to Matt’s parents house in a bit to fix their TV connections, then i dont know what i’m doing.

If the green eyed girl is working, i might stop by there and see her after.
