Taking back my sunday.

Well. My orignal plan for today was Tomi taking Zach overnight, me getting stuff I need to get done, done, Then possibly hanging out with a chickie.
Yeah. When do things ever happen the way I want?
Chickie blew me off. No surprise there. Totally used to it.
Tomi did come get him after work. We were both asleep when she got here… at like 4:30 in the afternoon. Apparently, after i gave him his afternoon nap, i took one as well.
I followed her to her house to help her set his stuff up, and left pissed off. For once, it was my own doing, not anything she did at that moment, and I still dont think she has a clue why. I’ll clue her in tomorrow.
Went 4 wheeling for a while. Then was pretty much just wallowing around in self pity trying to figure out what to do. Julie and I went around shopping for a few totally random things, then came back here, and watched CSI for a bit.
Julia called and asked what I was doing, and i said “well, chain smoking unfiltered lucky strikes, watching tv, wallowing in lonelyness and self pity, contemplating making a move on my equally lonely and self pitied roomate, and thinking about drinking the cheap vodka in the fridge.”
She laughed. Then she was like “wait. how much of that was true?”
Told her to figure it out. She told me to come ride with her tonight. Went to ride with her tonight… Had a patient 4 blocks from Tomi’s house. Just happened to drive by Tomi’s house on the way to the hospital… and her truck wasnt there.
Weird. This was 1am. She has the kid, why wouldnt she be there?
Called her from the hospital. She was waiting for Robert to get out of work…
Without the kid. Kid was sleeping at home under the unwatchful eye of her roomate.
I eventually went and got him. Now instead of sleeping, he’s drooling on my leg watching me type this, and wanting to check his myspace again. Yes. The kid has a myspace. It also has an awesome flash layout, but you cant see it unless you’re his friend.
So yeah. That was my day.
