New Bluetooth headset…

Damn. I should have copied my review from Bestbuy.com before I submitted it, because it was well written, and it’ll be a few days before its posted.

Anyhoo. I got a new BT headset… Ironically, my Motorola one gave up and died soon after I bought Tomi a new one yesterday. I got her an LG one thats small, and she can hide it with her hair. But we’re not talking about hers.

I saw one I liked when we were there, a Jabra that slides like the new motorola slidy one… It was 89.99, which was 30 bucks less then the moto one. I was going to order it from Bestbuy.com and pick it up today… Well. It was 69.99 on the website, so hell yeah.

Picked it up, charged it, started playing with it.

And i was reading the manual… and what do you know. It can have TWO active paired phones at once… I’ve NEVER seen that feature, but i’ve bitched about it before… Because I carry two phones (or more)

I have my cricket slider (which is starting to get loose, and i’m probably going to get a treo in its place) and i have my verizon Q for work. Well, since i rarely actually use the phone feature of the Q, i kept the headset i already had paired with the slider when I was driving… and when i was working outside of cricket’s area, manually paired it to the Q.

Now, it can pair with both, and I dont have to deal with changing it out. Also, its got a really nice adjustable hook thing, and it fits in my ear pretty well once i got the adjustment figured out.

Slide the boom down to answer, slide it up to hang up. Pretty spiff and it works pretty well. It also has good reviews for wind noise, so I need to see how that goes.

I usually use my BT on the right ear in the car so it doesnt pick up noise from the door or window, but its nice to know I could swap to the left if I have to.

If anyone’s intrested in more, its a Jabra 5010.

BTW. Blueheadsets.com has it on sale for 59.99 with a free car charger. Wished i had known that yesterday.
