Heres the new, new, revised, modified plan for tonight…
20. September 2007 by [JP].
1. Send a semi-flirty good night text message to a girl.
2. Shower.
3. Shave.
4. Finish my soda.
5. Make sure the drill is on the charger.
6. Wash bottles.
7. Put sign on door to remember the drill and charger.
8. Print out work order.
9. Put formula powder into two bottles ready for tomorrow in case Julie needs to stick one in his mouth.
10. Get in bed.
11. Put on the “imaginary pants” like Mai called them.
12. Watch the next episode of CSI:NY on this dvd.
13. Set alarm.
14. Go to sleep.
15. Wake up.
16. Wake kid up, Stick bottle in mouth if he hasnt had one in the last 2 hours.
17. Change said kid.
18. Remember the damn drill.
19. Change this away message with the “job site” one.
20. Go to Santa fe and work.

Maybe i should procrastinate later.
20. September 2007 by [JP].
Last night, I meant to take a shower and shave before I went to bed, because I had a quick contract on the westside this morning. Well. I finally did go to bed at around 4, and probably not to sleep until past 5.
So, when my alarm(s) woke me up at 7:30, they got slapped into oblivion.
Which resulted in me leaving the house around the time i previously planned… however, unshaven, unshowered, and in a rush to get to the westside.
Not taking the Albuquerque Factor into consideration.
If you need to cross town. Leave at least 15 minutes earlier then you think you need… and you’ll get there early.
Leave at the time you think, or later, and you’ll be at least an hour late.
Arrived for my 9am contract at 9:35 at cottonwood mall.
Quickly got my shit together, and did an hours worth of work in under 30 minutes, and the site opened just 7 minutes late (due to testing, and i had to restart the POS controller once extra because of the stupid parallel printer port.)
Keep in mind, that
1. I had to use a manual screwdriver because the drill didnt have enough torque to drill into the anchor stud i was trying to drill into. (that reminds me, i better go charge the damn drill)
2. I had to memorize where all 9 cables coming off the computer went… by touch, because it was too damn dark to see them in the back of the PC cart… then had to reconnect them by memory inside the new locking cage I just installed.
The job was scoped out at an hour. Got it done much quicker then that.
Which means, tomorrow, in Santa Fe, where i do the same damn thing, i’ll spend more time on the road ONE WAY then actually on site… Again.
Oh well. I do get paid well.
I still havent showered or shaven though. So I might do that after i go find some quick fast food, because i’m still hungry, even after eating at Mannie’s earlier.

The story of a street corner.
20. September 2007 by [JP].
Saturday night i rode with my friends who work for albuquerque ambulance. After dropping someone off at lovelace downtown, we stopped in the neighborhood by the hospital to catch up on paperwork and energy drinks.
There were these two girls walking either two, or from their car… i dont remember which by now.
I said something to Julia the tune of ‘hmm. Cute and cute’
She told me to jump out and go say something to you, but i didnt. The other medic suddenly said he was going to go take a leak in he alley and hopped out of the rig. I didnt think anything of it because he’s weird like that.
Well, apparently, instead, he went over and slipped one of my cards onto the door of the car… and I think he wrote something on it.
Well, I suppose what he was going for worked, because later on the next day, i got a random text message from the girl in the car.
Well… So i’ve been randomly texting back and forth with her a few times since.
I duno. Its kinda weird to try and figure it out. I dont know that much about her, i dont really remember much of what she looks like past the memory of a quick glance by the street lights.
I do, however, kinda like her. Somehow.
I duno how to explain it.
I just like her attitude. Beyond that, (shrug)
